Privacy Policy

This policy explains what FlexWOD collects, why, and who processes it on our behalf.
What we collect
- Account: email, display name, avatar. Passwords are hashed by our auth provider — we never see them.
- Training data: workouts, results, PRs, skill ratings, readiness check-ins, injuries you record, gym equipment lists, session timestamps.
- Photos: gym photos and workout photos you upload — used to identify equipment or parse a written workout with AI.
- Health imports: if you connect Apple Health or Strava, we import the fitness metrics you approve (steps, workouts, HR). We do not access anything you did not authorize.
- Device: minimal technical logs (timezone, error reports) used to keep the app running.
How we use it
- Generate personalized workouts and progressions.
- Track your PRs, readiness, and long-term balance.
- Enable partner training and shared workouts when you opt in.
- Debug crashes and improve the product.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your training data to train third-party models beyond the request-scoped calls needed to generate your programming.
Subprocessors
- Lovable Cloud (Supabase): database, authentication, storage.
- Google Gemini & OpenAI: AI programming, vision-based equipment identification, and workout parsing. Requests are sent per-user and are not used to train models per each provider's API terms.
- Google Maps: gym location search.
- Strava & Apple Health: only if you connect them.
Retention & deletion
Training data is retained for the life of your account. You can delete individual sessions, PRs, or gym photos at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, sessions, and uploaded photos within 30 days.
Your rights
You can request an export or deletion of your data by emailing hello@flexwod.app. Depending on your region (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may also have rights to correction and portability.

Children
FlexWOD is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
